Capital Group Receives ESG Shipping Awards 2024

Piraeus, May 25, 2024. Capital Group is pleased to announce that it has received the Climate Change Leader Silver Award at the ESG Shipping Awards 2024. This recognition acknowledges the company's best practices in decarbonization, GHG reduction, climate risk management, and sustainable investments.

Mr. Stergios Stergiou, Green Shipping & Sustainability Director, Capital Ship Management, accepted the award on behalf of the company and stated, “This award recognizes our innovation and commitment to delivering supply chain solutions that contribute to the broader efforts against climate change. Capital Group, along with its partners, was also honored with the Motivation Award at the ESG Shipping Awards 2024. This award recognizes the collaborative achievements of the Maritime Emissions Reduction Centre (M-ERC), an initiative focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainability in the shipping industry.
