Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. Awarded with Efkranti Award for Technological Innovation

Piraeus, July 10, 2024. Capital Gas Ship Management Corp. is proud to announce its receipt of the prestigious Efkranti Award for Technological Innovation in the shipping industry. Presented during the 16th Efkranti Awards in Athens, the award recognizes our project involving four LCO2 carriers, highlighting our commitment to innovation and sustainability in maritime operations. 

During the ceremony, Mr. Antonis Georgatzis, Vice President of MARTECMA, emphasized the significance of innovative shipbuilding as a cornerstone of Greek maritime strength. Mr. Panos Kourkountis, a member of the jury, announced the award, highlighting the unanimous decision to honor Capital Gas for its outstanding contribution to the industry. 

Mr. Miltos Zissis, Managing Director of Capital Ship Management Corp., accepted the award and stated, “At Capital, we are committed to playing a substantial role in the transition towards decarbonization, as evidenced by our order of liquefied carbon dioxide carriers.”
